It took almost a year since I bought this square mini-fridge until I finally found the time to turn it (too) into a Rubik’s cube. That was the plan from the very moment I came across it, the algorithm, of course, picked up on it and wouldn’t stop showing me ads… and now here it is, after the makeover.

The arrangement of the squares is based on a real scramble that came up with the smaller cube (it’s like “based on a true story” only with a cube).

Originally, it’s a HOMEX mini-fridge, a little under 50 cm per side. I guess its popularity grew because it fits in a Mamad (missiles-safe room) (which we don’t have). In our case, it serves as extra storage when the main fridge is full.
