During “Am Kelavi” (people like a lion) operation, when Israel irritated Iran, our family moved for almost a couple of weeks to my in-laws’ house, far from the center and close to a Mamad (missiles-safe room).

While we were staying there, one of the participants in Space Saga (an ongoing LARP aboard the spaceship Phoenix) approached me and asked me to paint a Nerf-like plastic weapon. He wanted the weapon to look like it was made from parts of his character, a tree-person (similar to Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy or the Ents from The Lord of the Rings).

I explained to him that this would be way more than just a paint job, and that I wanted to add a EVA-foam around it. He gave me full creative freedom and no deadline, which allowed me to fully commit to this project and not stop until I was satisfied.

That's exactly the distraction I needed between the sirens.
