⊰ Ellie’s T-Shirt, The Last of Us ⊱
I made Ellie’s shirt for my daughter, who played The Last of Us game.
I couldn’t find a shirt in the right shade, so I dyed a lighter one, knowing that uneven dyeing would actually work well.
I painted the print with acrylic paints, which aren’t ideal on their own, but even if they peel, it still looks fitting.
Since we live in Israel, where there aren’t many cold days and two layers are usually too much, I cut the collar and sleeves from a black shirt and sewed them onto the short-sleeved one.
Later, I found a shirt in the exact color. By then I already had stencils and lessons learned, so she actually has two of these shirts, and I also made her the hoodie and the bag, and a brick from the game.

In the days following October 7th, we all moved to my in-laws’ house, which has a safe room (Mamad). It fit the overall post-apocalyptic atmosphere, and also the fact that I suddenly had time to work on it.
